I’m going to join you and your friends Steve. I have been trying to call the Best Buy that I dropped my computer off at for a while now and there has been no answer at all in any department, not even an answering service.

It’s sad to see that there are thousands of results for “I hate Best Buy” that talk about the same types of problems. You would think that they would learn from their mistakes.

My experience with BestBuy was unfortunately, very similar. Any repairs done by Geek Squad resulted in additional problems without resolution. They really don’t seem to care about their customers- so I and everyone I know, are no longer their customers.

Thanks for the comment MomTo4KidsNY. I’m assuming based on your name that you’re from NY. If so, there’s good news. The Kmart is in Paramus, NJ on Route 17.
After doing a little research I found out that the carts are made by Cabco http://www.cabcogroup.com and Kmart just happens to use them.
You might be able to suggest to the stores that you usually shop in to get those carts. On the site above, they have all the info and benefits for the stores.

PS. Let me know what you do for your laptop. I may have to just bite the bullet and buy a new laptop of my own.

I would love to know where your Kmart is because I’m willing to uproot my family and move there just so I can shop with my children in peace for once! We don’t have a Kmart within reason to shop at much less have these TV’s in the kids shopping carts. That is awesome. I think every single store in America should be forced to have these nifty carts!!!!

I have been shopping around for a laptop. In fact in a few days I was going to make the two hour trip to your “local” Best Buy to see what they have. However I have just canceled this trip due to your post. It’s good to know who can’t trust!

I love your idea (”borrowed” as it may be) for winners and losers. I may have to borrow it from you…in fact, I guess I already bragged about my Winner of the week in a post a couple of days ago, Dell.

I would really love for you to read the post and see how Dell treated me when I had problems with my 3 y/o and out of warranty laptop. Much, much different than your experience (which is deplorable, btw, and will make me reconsider ever shopping with Best Buy again! I hope they read that, too!)

I wish our KMart had something like that for our shopping experience with the 4 y/o grandboy. OMG, shopping is a nightmare but that idea would sure make me a loyal customer, for sure!
